Crystal Palace drawn against Zrinjski of Bosnia for Conference League knockout stage

Crystal Palace are set to meet Bosnian team Zrinjski in the UEFA Conference League play, off round, aiming for a place in the last 16, after being paired in Fridays draw.

The London club failed to secure a position in the top eight of the league phase, which would have offered straight entry to the round of 16, yet they landed in the seeded section for these knockout play, offs.

This means the Eagles will host the return fixture at Selhurst Park.

Zrinjski ended the league stage in 23rd position, having recorded two wins, a single draw, and three losses.

If Oliver Glasners FA Cup champions advance, their next opponents in March could be either Germanys Mainz or Cypruss AEK Larnaca.

Fiorentina, who have been runners,up in the Conference League twice, will play Polands Jagiellonia, while Dutch club AZ Alkmaar were matched with Armenias Noah.

Other notable play, off ties include Polands Lech Poznan versus Finlands KuPS Kuopio, and Switzerlands Lausanne against Czech Republics Sigma Olomouc.
