Brentford manager Keith Andrews agrees extended deal until 2032
Keith Andrews, the manager of Brentford, finalised a fresh agreement on Thursday, locking in his role at the Premier League outfit through to 2032.
This prolonged commitment recognises his strong performance during his inaugural year leading the Bees.
Lacking any prior head coaching background, the 45-year-old stepped into the position on an original three-year arrangement last summer, succeeding Thomas Frank.
In the meantime, Frank faced dismissal from Tottenham following a challenging initial campaign there, yet the former Republic of Ireland player Andrews has steered Brentford into seventh spot in the Premier League table.
Phil Giles, Brentford's director of football, remarked: "Keith has excelled in his duties, with the side showing fine form and key aspects we targeted for growth this term all advancing nicely.
"He suits our organisation perfectly and our preferred approach, as he draws top performances from team members and personnel equally.
"The whole Brentford community will welcome news of Keith's extended stay with us, and I am keen on the prospects of our shared accomplishments ahead."
Brentford progressed to the FA Cup's fifth stage, set to face West Ham, while also advancing to the League Cup's last eight.
Before assuming full control this term, Andrews assisted Frank as the club's specialist on set pieces, alongside earlier roles at Sheffield United and MK Dons.
