Following their impressive run in the Champions League last season where they made it to the last sixteen before being eliminated by Sporting CP Bodo Glimt is now taking initial steps to secure its future by commencing work on the Arctic Arena. This new facility will accommodate 10,000 fans and complies with UEFA standards.

The venue is due for completion in 2027 and this project marks one of the biggest commitments to the growth of Bodo Glimt while advancing football local community and enterprise in Northern Norway.

The team had an outstanding campaign in the UEFA Champions League achieving the last sixteen in their debut season in the tournament which amazed the football community given the clubs northern Arctic location.

This represents a crucial point for Bodø Glimt our fans and the entire area. said Frode Thomassen CEO of Bodo Glimt.

The commencement of building our new venue goes well beyond just starting construction. It symbolises our identity what we have achieved collectively and our future direction. This arena will serve as the home ground for Bodo Glimt and embody the drive spirit and togetherness that have propelled this clubs extraordinary path.
