Matters worsened dramatically for Kent Nielsens squad when the hosts reached 4-0 at the 25-minute mark. Mathias Zanka Jorgensen headed the ball across the area, allowing Moukoko to sneak in and direct it beyond the line for his second goal of the evening.

At the 62-minute point, the scoreline hit 6-0 after the Silkeborg backline was again exposed, letting Mohamed Elyounoussi spot the totally free Robert close to goal, where the Brazilian blasted it into the top of the net without error.

Yet the celebrations for Copenhagen continued, reaching 7-0 with thirteen minutes remaining as William Clem supplied a fine cross to the far post, met by Swedish forward Jordan Larsson who powered a header beyond Larsen.
