Big crowd of Ajax supporters walks onto motorway to back team before Klassieker

The crowd stepped onto the A4 motorway one of the nations most heavily used near Hoofddorp to get close to the teams coach that had recently set off from the Johan Cruyff Arena and they ignited flares. A separate bunch of supporters hammered on the coach as it pulled away leading to slight damage as a club official verified.
The Ajax backers created a blockage on the A4 yet the coach succeeded in dodging any mishaps.
Rijkswaterstaat the executive branch of the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management put out a release criticising the Ajax supporters behaviour: "Rijkswaterstaat denounces this highly reckless conduct. Through this they threaten not only their personal security but also that of fellow drivers."
