Beckham explains the strengths of Luis Enriques method at PSG

During a Paramount+ studio discussion after PSGs 1-1 tie with Bayern, Beckham highlighted the vibrant squad Enrique has assembled and their strong cohesion. He then shared insights into the Spanish managers intense commitment.

I talked with PSG president Nasser AlKhelaifi at the club. He noted that in the opening year, Luis Enrique essentially spent every night at the training centre, Beckham shared.

He was dedicated to defining the teams identity, their style of play, the ideal players, and the clubs long term vision, he added.

Beckham also mentioned the president saying he had never observed such a level of dedication from any prior manager: He seeks uniformity in standards, with everyone aligned on objectives. He is developing these emerging talents. Additionally, he prioritises players who hustle tirelessly. That is exactly the foundation he has established.

For this term, PSG hold a six point lead over Lens atop the Ligue 1 standings. They aim to retain their Champions League title facing Arsenal in the Budapest showdown on 30 May.
