Bayern Munichs Harry Kane claims side dont fear anyone following Champions League victory

Kane, who was an unused substitute during the opening fixture, netted a pair of goals as Bayern secured a 4-1 success on Wednesday, clinching a 10-2 overall triumph and earning a clash against the 15-time European Cup champions.

"We dont fear anyone," the England skipper told DAZN regarding the upcoming Real showdown.

"We realise it will be challenging, yet with the boost from this match and our form throughout the campaign, we simply must continue our approach."

Kanes double elevated his Champions League career tally to 50 strikes across 66 outings.

This term, he has registered 47 goals over 39 appearances across every competition, surpassing his previous best for any club in one season.

Nine points ahead in the Bundesliga with eight fixtures remaining, Bayern have suffered defeat in only two of their 41 games in all tournaments this season.

In his debut year in Germany, Kane was eliminated over two ties in the semi-finals by Real, who overcame Bayern foes Borussia Dortmund in the Wembley showpiece.

Kane, donning the Bayern captains band for his initial Champions League appearance, indicated that his team had absorbed lessons from that loss and understood the approach needed against Real.

"Every encounter with Real Madrid in the Champions League demands respect for a formidable rival, preparation for battle," Kane remarked.

"You must be set to adopt a specific style of play, and we will be prepared accordingly."

Bayern have been unable to overcome the Spanish powerhouse since the 2011-12 semi-finals.

"Both teams are colossal entities," stated Bayern coach Vincent Kompany.

"Current superiority does not matter, the legacy of each club is immense.

"It promises to be extraordinary. Frankly, against Madrid, as the intensity rises, they elevate their game. That is why I anticipate an elite contest.

"It will entertain supporters, including those without allegiance, yet ultimately we aim to prevail."
