Bayern manager Kompany to decide Kane involvement late ahead of Madrid tie
The 32-year-old England skipper missed his nations 1-0 friendly loss to Japan last month owing to the issue and he also sat out Bayerns 3-2 victory at Freiburg.
A possible comeback for Kane would offer Bayern a huge lift, given that the high-scoring striker has bagged 48 goals in 40 outings in all competitions this term.
The six-time European winners are keen to get him back in action as they gear up to take on a Real outfit that powered into the last eight via a convincing 5-1 aggregate triumph over Manchester City.
"It was important that he did a lot of training today. I don't think he's lost his rhythm. We'll wait until tomorrow and then decide," Kompany informed journalists on Monday.
"Everyone is available apart from (goalkeeper) Sven Ulreich. We have a strong squad and we're ready for the two legs."
Bayern head to Madrid in top form, leading the Bundesliga by nine points and ending second in the Champions League group stage with only one loss.
Real, in contrast, aim to rebound after a 2-1 LaLiga setback against bottom-of-the-table Mallorca on Saturday.
"The most important thing is that we have full focus on the game tomorrow. We want to show what we're capable of. We'll give our all to do that. I just want us to win and not have any fear," Kompany added.
The ex-Belgium and City defender recognised the enormity of the task for his team yet insisted Bayern are prepared.
"Everything will matter tomorrow. This is my first time here as a coach, but we have a lot of experience in games like this," he explained.
"The outcome will be decided in part by tactics, but above all by the little things, such as the individual quality of the players. We've prepared for Real and we've seen what they did against City. It's perhaps the toughest away game you can play, but we want to win."
