Barcelona boss Hansi Flick expected to agree fresh deal extending stay until 2028
This comes straight from transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, stating that the German coach will ink a contract lasting until 2028, complete with an extra year option.
Romano noted yesterday that Flick's representative, Pini Zahavi, touched down in Barcelona to finalise the manager's new agreement, and it seems the terms have been greenlit.
Since stepping in for Xavi Hernandez back in May 2024, Flick has thrived at the Catalan club, securing a domestic treble during his debut campaign at age 61.
Currently, he is primed to claim back-to-back LaLiga crowns, requiring only a single point from the upcoming clash with Real Madrid on Sunday to lift the trophy.
Barcelona previously triumphed over Real in the Spanish Super Cup decider this January, thanks to two goals from Robert Lewandowski and a decisive effort by Raphinha in a thrilling 3 to 2 win.
