'Banter could unsettle Polish keeper, claims former Swedish colleague'
Poland take on Sweden on Tuesday night in a crucial match deciding who qualifies for this years FIFA World Cup tournament.
Aftonbladet interviewed William Eskelinen, who played alongside Kamil Grabara (on loan from Liverpool) at AGF between 2020 and 2021.
"He is quite an unusual fellow. His career has seen some turbulence, which is not entirely unexpected."
"Nevertheless, he is an excellent shot stopper, and I recognised soon after his arrival in Aarhus that he had the potential to start regularly in one of Europes top five divisions", the Swedish goalkeeper explains.
Eskelinen offers further tips to the Swedish side ahead of their encounter with Kamil Grabara on Tuesday.
"As mentioned, he has a distinctive personality and is not always steady. Trash talk is not ideal, but I believe Sweden could disrupt his rhythm that way. It is possible to rattle him", Eskelinen notes, adding that despite not being close friends, they held mutual respect.
"He carries a unique presence and thinks he is the worlds greatest, which can annoy many" , states Eskelinen.
Sweden host Poland at the Friends Arena in Stockholm on Thursday at 20.45 CET.
