Amad Diallo reveals Manchester United players delighted with Michael Carrick staying on as boss

The influence of Carrick at Manchester United has proved impressive, lifting the side from a middling position in Ruben Amorims era to clinching Champions League football with three fixtures left.

In an interview with Sky Sports, the 23 year old Diallo shared insights into the environment under the ex midfielder, stressing that the squad hopes he secures the role at United on a long term basis.

"Perhaps the key difference is that the side now shows greater dynamism," he noted.

"In the changing area, we truly stand united, no error creates hassle, your slip is our slip, thus we form a unit that ignores personal faults, you simply continue, so we press on, we aim to succeed collectively."

Queried on the clubs leadership scenario, Diallo voiced his stance directly, stating: "All are content with him in charge. The whole group backs him... we would be pleased to see him managing us next term."
