Aarhus Title Decider Emerges as One of Danish Superligas Best Viewed Games Ever
Television viewership averaged 330,000 with a peak audience of 432,000 as stated by Viaplay the broadcasting rights owner.
The decisive Sunday encounter ranks as the highest rated Superliga fixture over the last three decades that did not feature FC Copenhagen or Brondby.
This represents Viaplays top Superliga broadcast since the May 2024 championship loss by Brondby to AGF held at Brondby Stadium.
"We are thrilled with these remarkable figures and take great pride in them. The battle for the Danish football title truly engages the public. As broadcasters we are delighted to contribute to surpassing audience highs. This success benefits not just Viaplay but the entire sport of football in Denmark."
"Moreover it is noteworthy that this occurs during a campaign when both Brondby and FC Copenhagen are performing well below expectations" states Rune Knudsen Viaplays sports director in an interview with Bold.dk
Only three fixtures remain in the Danish Superliga season.
