Vandals strike FC Midtjyllands training centre before key clash with local foes

Upon arriving at their Ikast training session this morning in preparation for tomorrows showdown with Viborg FF, the FC Midtjylland squad encountered a shocking scene, as the facility had suffered overnight vandalism, allegedly at the hands of Viborg supporters.

The structure known as Dream 99 was covered in green paint. The clubs motto, Those who give up getting better, stop being good, was daubed in green, as reported by TV 2 Sport.

On the facility housing the players changing rooms, dining area, and relaxation spaces, graffiti appeared on a wall bearing phrases such as Hader FCM, meaning Hate FCM, along with 1896, nodding to Viborg FFs heritage. Even the goalposts at one of the pitches were splashed with green.

By this morning, efforts were underway to restore the site. FC Midtjylland chose to remain silent on the incident.
