You joined the national team more recently than others, but how important is the group in this Argentina squad?

"It's hugely important. When a group gets along well off the pitch, you can clearly see it on the pitch too. We all help each other and give each other advice. For us young players, this atmosphere is crucial because it gives us the confidence we need to express ourselves as we know how. All of this inevitably has a positive impact on the team's performance."

Before the World Cup, many saw you as a possible breakout star for Argentina. Everyone talks about your talent: how do you handle these expectations, and what do you think you can bring to the team?

"I really appreciate all the support I'm receiving. People always welcome me in the best way possible, and for me, it's something incredible. Feeling this closeness also helps me on the pitch, because it allows me to play calmly and show my football. I can only thank everyone for such great support."

This was Argentina's fiftieth win in World Cup history, but you represent the new generation. What do you learn every day from experienced players like Lionel Messi and Nicolas Otamendi?

"I learn so much from them every single day. Before and after every match, they talk to me, stay close to me, and give me a lot of advice. They always tell me to be myself, to play calmly, and not to be afraid to show my qualities. It's an attitude I really appreciate, and it's helping me a lot to grow."

Now the Round of 32 begins. How do you feel about entering this new phase of the World Cup?

"It will be a completely different phase compared to the group stage, a different mentality. We can't wait to get on the pitch and start. But right now, the priority is to recover our energy because we just played a really tough match physically. Starting tomorrow, we'll begin thinking about our next opponent."
